Ammonia Cracker for 11.5kW Fuel Cell. Converts Anhydrous Ammonia (NH³) to pure hydrogen (75%) and nitrogen (25%) which are fed into the the fuel cell. Oxygen for the fuel cell comes from air which is pumped into the fuel cell. When hydrogen and oxygen combine in the fuel cell, electricity and water are produced and nitrogen exits to atmosphere. Ammonia is one of the best carriers of hydrogen and is available throughout the world, with over 200,000 tons produced annually. Liquid anhydrous ammonia is used by farmers all over the world for fertilizer. It is difficult to handle but the farmers have had training as to how to use it -- they wear special gloves and eye protection equipment.

 


Aqua Ammonia De-Watering Unit

 for 11.5 kW Ammonia Cracker. This unit produces anhydrous ammonia from aqueous ammonia (ammonia mixed with water -- for example, 98% water + 2% ammonia as found in grocery stores for household cleaning, or 60% water + 40% ammonia for commercial purposes. This product is easy to handle and could even be pumped into fuel tanks of vehicles just as gasoline is dispensed.
