Forty-five Mars II Electric Cars built in 1967 and 1968 in Detroit, Michigan. Six are still in operation and have been offered for sale to Apollo.
The Mars II pictured above was manufactured by Electric Fuel Propulsion Corporation (EFP) in 1968 and sold to Central Illinois Electric Company for $4,800. It has been offered for sale to Apollo for $20,000 (EFP is Apollo's Licensor and was founded by Robert Aronsson in 1966).

These cars had a driving range of 146 miles and were sold to 45 Electric
Utility Companies who drove them for five years on the average. They were
equipped with Lead Cobalt Batteries ( see:
